It all started with a friend's request, whose client had been fighting a dramatically slow-acting Windows SBS 2011 server for weeks. Further IT companies spread their hands and every day of downtime generated frustration and real losses in the company. I agreed to take a look at it.

On the spot, after a short analysis, I identified a series of configuration errors that stifled the system's performance. In less than an hour I optimized the server that had regained its old efficiency. I honestly pointed out to the owner what was still worth improving in the future so that the problem would not return, and I said goodbye, considering the case closed.

I didn't get a few miles away when the phone rang, and it was the owner of the company who asked me to turn around.
